Words can be used in such a way that everything becomes hidden. And words can be used in such a way that everything is revealed.
I hope the words in this series, Seeds for Contemplation, will reveal more than they hide; for you, and for me.
But I need to be honest.
Some of these words will confront; some will inspire. But both are needed.
For it is through revelation we fall into the presence of our own being.
And it is this coming into the presence of our own being where the noise of the world, and of too many words, stops, and contemplation begins.
The value of these moments will never be understood by the world.
For it cannot package it to sell to you, or to me. And that is a good thing.
You are enough. Let me show you how.
With the help of some words. But hopefully not too many.
Today there are 171 so far.
But this is just the beginning. There is more to come.
And this more, will surprise and delight, I hope.
Let's find out together.
warmly,
Clarke
p.s.
this series will likely evolve in style and structure over time. But the gist of what I am attempting to do is to build a thesis and narrative over time such that the sum of the parts is greater in meaning and scope and utility than each post.
I am, therefore, looking for feedback, from you, by way of “liking” and commenting on the post on Substack.
Please go there and let me know your thoughts. Thanks.
